Then you should not miss out on our ESN Nijmegen day trip on Sunday, 23. October! Enjoy exploring the Netherlands while meeting new people and making international friends.
What can you expect?
We will take the train from Nijmegen to The Hague in the morning. Thereby, we offer you the possibility to join a group ticket for the train and tram together or to take your own transportation card. When signing up you can choose between those two options.
We will start with a thrilling city tour to get to know The Hague. Afterwards everyone can grab a small lunch at the Foodhallen before we visit Madurodam together.
Then you will have free time to explore the city yourself. Not sure what to discover? To find the best places to visit in The Hague, we have provided you a list with our top four attractions:
Scheveningen Beach
Park Clingendael + Japanese garden. (Note: Japanese garden closes at 4pm)
Vredespaleis / Peace Palace
Mauritshuis (museum with art from 17th century)
We can meet again early in the evening and enjoy our well-deserved dinner together, or you can go out and explore the culinary scenery of Den Haag by yourself. Some cheap options would be “La Cubanita”, “Proeflokaal Bregje” or “Very Italian pizza”.
At the end of the day, we will take the train back to Nijmegen at exactly 8:25pm, so make sure to be back by then.

Good to know:
Please keep in mind that everyone who has signed up for the group tickets has to take the same train. If you plan to stay longer, we advise you to buy your own tickets.
