ESN Nijmegen is a student organization for internationally-minded students of Radboud University and HAN University of Applied Sciences in Nijmegen. Although still a young association, our aim is to create a unique platform for integration of Dutch and international students with activities where students can meet and mingle! On the 14th January 2018, we became part of the biggest student association of Europe, the Erasmus Student Network.
Join our parties, cultural exchanges, language exchange events, borrels, excursions and many more!
The Erasmus Student Network (ESN) as a whole is the biggest student association in Europe. It was born on the 16th October 1989 and legally registered in 1990 for supporting and developing student exchange. ESN is present in more than 430 Higher Education Institutions from 37 countries. The network is constantly developing and expanding, and in addition has around 13,500 active members. Thus, ESN involves around 29,000 young people offering its services to around 180,000 international students every year.
ESN works in Higher Education (HE):
ESN works for the creation of a more mobile and flexible education environment by supporting and developing student exchange on different levels, and providing an intercultural experience also to those students who cannot go abroad (“internationalisation at home”).
